HG Construction has been selected as the main contractor for a build-to-rent (BTR) development, named BeckYard, in Leeds, England, UK.
The project, valued at £69m ($87.57m), is a collaboration with McLaren Living and funding partner Heim Global Investor, according to HG’s latest LinkedIn post.
It is receiving grant support from West Yorkshire Combined Authority’s Brownfield Housing Fund.
Situated in the South Bank Regeneration area, the scheme is aimed at revitalising a former car park site into a residential community.
Designed by Carey Jones Chapman Tolcher, it aims to deliver 375 new homes across two interconnected buildings, with heights ranging from 12 to 26 storeys.
The BTR scheme will offer amenities such as lounges, shared workspaces, a gym, events areas, and roof gardens.
