Two new sports stadiums in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, namely Shabab Al Ahli – Dubai Club and Al Wasl Club, have received approval for their architectural designs.
Dubai Crown Prince, Executive Council chair and Shabab Al Ahli – Dubai Club president Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has approved the designs.
The approval is in line with the vision of Rashid Al Maktoum to elevate sports in the country.
It also aligns with Dubai Economic Agenda D33’s aim to boost Dubai’s status as a sporting hub.
The Shabab Al Ahli – Dubai Club stadium at Al Ruwayyah 3 and the Al Wasl Club stadium at Al Jaddaf will each have a capacity of more than 20,000 spectators.
The Shabab Al-Ahli stadium will have a circular roof supported by moon-like columns.
