NCC has signed an agreement with K-Prefab AB, a subsidiary of K-Fast Holding, to provide concrete and steel frame solutions for new facilities in Halmstad, Sweden.
The end customer for this project is the Swedish Fortifications Agency.
The Swedish Fortifications Agency tasked NCC with the construction of storage and training buildings for the Swedish Armed Forces at the LV6 Air Defence Regiment in September 2023.
The contract, which is valued at about Skr660m ($62.99m), involves NCC constructing a training building for the 103 air defence system.
K-Prefab CEO Stefan Paulsson said: “At K-Prefab, we look forward to cooperating with NCC in this project. The fact that we have been entrusted to deliver this type of construction shows our versatility and flexibility as a frame contractor.”
K-Prefab’s role in this project is to deliver frame solutions for two buildings, with the larger one spanning 24,000m².

These buildings will include halls for trucks and maintenance, special areas for theory and simulator training, an auditorium, and others.

K-Prefab’s contract is worth Skr105m.
The entire project is expected to be completed by the beginning of 2026.
Last month, K-Prefab AB received an order from Noccon to support the construction of a housing project in Orminge, Nacka Municipality, Sweden.
