US-based Greystar Real Estate Partners and global private equity company Partners Group have commenced construction on a new apartment building at 7340 Wisconsin in Bethesda, Maryland, US.
This 26-storey building, which will feature four floors of ‘below-grade parking’, will add 301 units to the neighbourhood, 46 of which will be classed as Moderately Priced Dwelling Units.
The apartment complex will comprise studios, and one, two and three-bedroom floor plans, with penthouse apartments on the upper levels, some of which will have direct lift entrances.
Separate cooktops and ovens, handpicked finishes, and keyless access are among some of the site’s distinct characteristics.
Greystar Development managing director John Clarkson said: “7340 Wisconsin Ave presents the unique opportunity to transform a forlorn site in the heart of Bethesda into a boutique project befitting of its trophy location, direct access to mass transit, top public schools and exceptional demographics.
“We are very fortunate to venture with Partners Group and collectively believe moving forward with our project in an uncertain environment will generate significant long-term value for the community and the partnership.”

By GlobalDataThe project was designed by Bethesda-based SK& I Architecture, with interiors by New York City-based interior designer JGNA.
A geometric terracotta facade and a minimalist, sculptural interior are some of these design elements.
Residents can benefit from smaller corridors and fewer units per level on the unit floors.
Residents will be able to access work-from-home multiuse rooms, a fitness centre, and a 24-hour concierge. The residential building will also have retail space on its first floor.
The first units at the site are expected to be delivered in the fourth quarter of 2025, with the last units completed in early 2026.
