The value of this contract is approximately $186m.
The project will provide 128 new hospital beds to serve patients requiring trauma, cardiology, neurosciences, and general surgery treatment.
The additional beds are expected to boost patient care capacity, with medical residents and students also set to benefit from improved training.
Construction works on this 162,000ft² facility are set to commence at the end of 2023, with the hospital expected to open in January 2026.
The project is anticipated to benefit the local economy through the creation of 770 construction jobs, as well as 127 additional full-time jobs post-completion.
