Mori Building has commenced the construction of a 59-floor office tower in the Sudirman area of Jakarta, Indonesia.
Provisionally called The Jakarta Office Tower Project, this is Mori Building’s first undertaking in Southeast Asia.
Set to open in 2021, the Jakarta Office Tower is located in the centre of the Golden Triangle, which is the main thoroughfare in the city’s central business district and is next to Semanggi Intersection and the New Semanggi Flyover on Sudirman Street.
This 266m tower will provide 190,000m² of offices, restaurants and cafes, and secure parking space.
The project is expected to obtain a BCA Green Mark Platinum Award, a rating for environmental impact and performance.
Its construction is being carried out jointly by Japan-based Shimizu Corporation and Bangun Cipta Kontraktor, a local construction firm.
