This contract comes after Skanska secured a contract last month from Fabege to construct a new office building with an innovation centre for high-speed separators in Flemingsberg, Stockholm.

This contract was valued at $69.97m (SEK800m), and registered by Skanska Sweden in its order bookings for Q3 2022.

Divided into two phases, the office project is being undertaken in close collaboration between Fabege and Skanska.

An agreement for Phase 1 of the office project was signed in 2021 and that included planning participation and production preparations.

The second phase, which is beginning now, includes construction of a 12-storey office building and an innovation centre on two floors with double-height ceilings.

Work on this project is anticipated to finish in the spring of 2025.
