Last month, BAM announced the start of construction works of the Marga Klompé Building, the new educational building at Tilburg University in the Netherlands.

The first foundation pile went into the ground for the new building, which has been named after Marga Klompé, the first female cabinet minister in the Netherlands.

Marga Klompé Building will feature independent study places, fourteen lecture halls, and a foyer.

It is being constructed by BAM Bouw en Techniek – Integrale Projecten Zuid and designed by Powerhouse Company.

Its design aligns with the surrounding wooded area and the natural character of the campus.

Marga Klompé Building, which is being constructed on the former parking lot between the Tias building and CUBE, offers space for almost 1,000 students.
