Suffolk has announced the completion of the construction of 200 Linden Avenue, a condominium building in San Francisco, California, the US.

The 97-unit condominium building, which also includes 78 market-rate and 19 affordable units, is located near downtown South San Francisco and the city’s Caltrain station.

Developed by Hisense Real Estate, the 200 Linden eight-story complex is designed by BDE Architecture.

Suffolk Northern California general manager Mike DiNapoli said: “Thoughtful residential development, particularly projects which address critical issues like affordability and access to transportation, drive cultural and economic progress in our communities.

“Suffolk is proud to use innovative processes and technology to support the development of community-focused projects like The Linden which contribute to South San Francisco’s bright future.”

Officially called The Linden, the new building features contemporary architecture designs. It offers a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom floorplans, each with unique layouts and amenities.

The building also offer residents with indoor and outdoor gathering spaces such as a designer lobby with lounge seating areas; a lushly landscaped courtyard; a community clubhouse.

It also includes garage parking spaces with electric vehicle (EV) stations in addition to bike parking and EV bike charging outlets.

Suffolk said that the use of MiTek cold form steel (CFS) panels in the construction of the superstructure resulted in positive schedule impacts for the project despite the constraints caused due to the Covid 19 pandemic.

In a press statement, the firm said: “In fact, 200 Linden is the only building in the world to use these panels stacked on five levels in a wood-framed structure.”
