UK-based construction services provider Kier has been selected by developer Concord London to deliver a £106m mixed-use project, known as Marylebone Square, in Central London.
To be located on the site of the former Moxon Street carpark, the 25,160m² project will include the construction of a nine-storey building featuring five residential floors above the ground floor and a three-storey basement.
Kier Construction group managing director Liam Cummins said: “This is an exciting project for us to be appointed to deliver and it draws on both our technical excellence and experience of delivering large scale, mixed-use schemes in London.
“This appointment is testament to our collaborative relationship with Concord London and its consultant partners. We look forward to successfully delivering this project and creating a lasting legacy in Marylebone as part of our growing portfolio of projects in London.”
Marylebone Square will include 54 private apartments and 25 affordable housing units across the five upper floors, with the ground and lower ground floors offering retail, restaurant and community facilities along with a community hall.
It will feature parking for residents and plant space at the lowest basement level while a new public parking facility will be located at B1 level.

Kier stated that the project is scheduled to complete in summer 2023 and about one-third of the housing units have already been sold.
Concord London managing director Chris Murray said: “Marylebone Square is a truly significant milestone for us as a company.
“We look forward to working alongside Kier to deliver a first class development that will combine beautiful architecture, high quality finishes and the latest technology to create exceptional homes for residents and a superb new retail destination for the local community.
“The strong sales trajectory seen so far is a fantastic indicator of interest in this project and we look forward to progressing with the build.”
