US-based company Honeywell International’s IT hiring declined 10.1% in July 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 8.72% in July 2022 when compared with June 2022.
IT jobs claimed a 14.85% share in the company’s total hiring activity in July 2022, and recorded a 0.41% growth over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Honeywell International IT hiring in July 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Honeywell International, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 65.67% in July 2022, and a 25.9% drop over June 2022, while Computer and Information Research Scientists claimed a share of 9.58% in July 2022, and registered a decline of 33.33%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 9.18% in July 2022, a 26.98% drop from June 2022.

Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global construction IT hiring activity in July 2022 with a 50.3% share, which marked a 29.81% drop over the previous month.
North America stood next with 38.92%, registering a 31.82% month-on-month decline. Europe was the third leading region with an 8.38% share and a 10.53% rise over June 2022.
In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 1.6% and a month-on-month flat growth. South & Central America stood at the bottom of the table with a share of 0.8%, registering a flat growth over the previous month.
India commanded a leading presence in the region’s construction industry IT hiring activity with a 46.91% share in July 2022, a 28.57% decline over June 2022. US featured next with a 35.33% share, down 31.66% over the previous month. Mexico recorded a 2.2% share, a decline of 52.17% compared with June 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead Honeywell International IT hiring activity in July 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 62.67%, down by 27.98% from June 2022. Mid Level positions with a 24.55% share, a decline of 35.26% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 12.57% share, down 8.7% over June 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 0.2%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
