The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 1.38% in May 2022 when compared with April 2022.
Out of the construction industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 5.31% share in May 2022, recording a decrease of 0.24% over the last three-month average share.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 13.33% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Mexico’s construction industry during May 2022 over April 2022.
General Electric posted 19 IT jobs in May 2022 and registered a rise of 72.73% over the previous month, followed by Honeywell International with 9 jobs and a 65.38% drop. Black & Veatch with 5 IT jobs and ABB with 4 jobs, recorded a 66.67% growth and a 33.33% growth, respectively, while Eaton Corporation recorded a flat growth with 2 job postings during May 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in May 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 46.94%, down by 42.5% from April 2022. Entry Level positions with a 32.65% share, registered an increase of 6.67% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with 14.29% share, down 78.13% over April 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 6.12%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
