Architecture firm Populous has been selected to design the new multi-use event arena in Munich, Germany.

The lifecycle-based planning has been designed to reduce the carbon footprint at the time of construction, and climate-positive management during the operating phase.

The new event arena will have several thousand solar panels on the roof, as well as around the site.
