UK-based company Arup Group’s IT hiring increased 16.3% in July 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics.

The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 6.96% in July 2021 when compared with June 2021.

IT jobs claimed a 7.29% share in the company’s total hiring activity in July 2021, and recorded a 0.83% growth over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Arup Group IT hiring in July 2021

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Arup Group, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 45.24% in July 2021, and a 26.67% growth over June 2021, while Computer and Information Research Scientists claimed a share of 16.67% in July 2021, and registered a 75% an increase. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 11.9% in July 2021, a flat growth from June 2021.

Europe emerged as the leading region in the global construction IT hiring activity in July 2021 with a 71.43% share, which marked a 3.45% growth over the previous month.

Asia-Pacific stood next with 23.81%, registering a 150% month-on-month growth. North America was the third leading region with a 4.76% share and a flat growth over June 2021.

The UK commanded a leading presence in the region’s construction industry IT hiring activity with a 57.14% share in July 2021, a 4.35% growth over June 2021. Australia featured next with a 19.05% share, up 700% over the previous month.Poland recorded a 9.52% share, an increase of 300% compared with June 2021.

Junior Level jobs held a share of 88.1%, up by 27.59% from June 2021. Mid Level positions with an 11.9% share, a growth of 400% compared with the previous month.
