CIM Group has announced the completion of new ground-up eight-storey hotel tower, Gallery Tower, in Downtown Las Vegas, US.
The new 250,000ft² Gallery Tower rises above the reconfigured porte-cochere on the east side of the property. It has direct access to the Downtown Grand’s rooftop pool deck, as well as rooms that offer views of it.
It also has a direct connection to the hotel’s ground floor casino, dining and entertainment venues.
The new tower adds 495 contemporary guest rooms to Downtown Grand Hotel & Casino and is set to debut on 22 September.
It will offer a total of 1,124 rooms to guests in an assortment of room configurations, including three 1,500ft² penthouse suites.
It features Downtown Grand’s industrial chic aesthetic and derives its name from the property’s art collection.
The collection’s centrepiece is an interactive augmented reality in-room experience featured in select guestrooms.
Gallery Tower expands the range of the hotel’s comfortable accommodation in the pedestrian-friendly Downtown Las Vegas.
CIM Group leveraged its operating expertise to redevelop and reposition Downtown Grand Hotel & Casino to offer a boutique hotel experience when it opened in 2013.
Downtown Grand Hotel & Casino spans two full city blocks between Casino Center Boulevard and North 4th Street, and East Ogden and East Stewart Avenues.
The community-focused real estate and infrastructure owner, operator and lender CIM has led several projects in metropolitan communities across the Americas on behalf of its own account and for its partners and co-investors.
