Developer and investment manager Mill Creek Residential has initiated construction on Modera Weston, a luxury community located approximately 15 miles west of Boston, US.
The development, which encompasses a mix of 172 homes and townhomes, is set within a Weston neighbourhood, surrounded by more than 60 acres of countryside.
Modera Weston, positioned at 751 Boston Post Road, is located near Interstate 90 (I-90)/Mass Turnpike, offering direct access to Route 128/I-95.
The community’s proximity to two commuter rail stations within three miles provides access to local entertainment and employment hubs, including sectors such as technology, pharmaceuticals, and finance.
The luxury homes at Modera Weston, ranging from one to three bedrooms, will feature an average size of 1,318ft², with some offering den layouts.
Residents can gain access to a host of amenities, including an outdoor swimming pool, grilling area, fire pit, and more. The development will also repurpose two historic buildings for communal use.
Interiors of the homes at Modera Weston will feature 10ft ceilings, quartz countertops, and wood-style plank flooring, among others.
The community aims for a National Green Building Standard (NGBS) Silver certification, reflecting a commitment to sustainability.
First move-ins for Modera Weston are anticipated in mid-2026.
Mill Creek Boston development senior managing director Doug Arsham said: “We’ve always had significant interest in delivering market-rate and affordable housing to a well-established suburb like Weston, which is one of the most desirable communities within Greater Boston.
“Modera Weston is one of the few multifamily communities currently under construction in the area, as barriers to entry are extremely high. We’re eager for the opportunity to join the neighbourhood and offer what we believe will be a best-in-class living experience for discerning renters.”
In November 2023, Mill Creek Residential announced the start of construction work on a new apartment community in Revere Beach, Massachusetts, US.
