Quickbase, an AI-driven operations platform, has introduced the Project Hub Pro App, a new tool designed to enhance visibility across construction projects.

Project Hub provides stakeholders with a centralised, 360-degree view of all project data from start to finish, offering customisable dashboards and workflows tailored to fit their specific processes.

Designed for both general and speciality contractors, the app helps teams anticipate potential risks and make informed decisions throughout the project life cycle, claims the tech vendor.

In a recent survey conducted by Quickbase, involving more than 430 construction operations, IT, and project leaders, nearly half (48%) reported project delays and missed deadlines within the past year.

The survey highlighted the challenges of disconnected data and the difficulty of sharing information across multiple systems, with 41% finding it hard to get a full view of projects and 29% trying to share real-time information across dispersed teams.

This inability to connect field data to central dashboards or systems has negatively impacted 35% of projects, according to the survey.

Quickbase claims that Project Hub addresses these challenges by enabling executives, project leaders, and field teams to consolidate, integrate, and visualise key project information, allowing for real-time tracking of financial data, labour, materials, compliance, and more.

Features include executive and project dashboards for monitoring project status and risks, financial and cost management tracking to maintain budget control, labour and productivity insights to optimise workforce allocation, and field data integration to connect information from daily logs and other field reports.

Additionally, the app provides compliance and safety monitoring to ensure adherence to regulations, document and photo management for centralised data storage, and prebuilt and custom integrations with systems such as Sage, Procore, and Microsoft Excel to deliver visibility into construction projects.

Quickbase construction general manager Tim Douglas said: “If you’re a small or mid-size general or speciality contractor working on complex projects, it can be really hard to get a snapshot of the health of that project.

“Without some kind of centralised view, it’s impossible to spot project risks and delays, never mind being able to get ahead of them, putting budgets, timing, and safety at risk.

“Project Hub solves this by taking what Quickbase already does so well – connecting your data, supporting your unique workflows, and delivering visibility – it’s a single pane of glass view into and across projects.”
