Taylor Morrison has initiated construction on its first ‘resort lifestyle’ community, Esplanade at St. Marys, in the Greater Jacksonville market of Georgia, US.

The 1,250-acre development will introduce more than 1,300 single-family homes, alongside a selection of amenities and wellness programmes.

The planned facilities for Esplanade at St. Marys include an 18-hole championship golf course, designed by Christopher Wilczynski of C.W. Golf Architecture.

Residents will also have access to a pool with cabanas, a Bahama Bar, a Culinary Centre, a fitness centre, spa services, and courts for tennis, pickleball, and bocce.

Additional amenities include a kayak launch on St. Marys River, a ‘Bark Park’, fireside seating, and walking trails.

A full-time ‘lifestyle manager’ will be present on-site to curate lifestyle experiences and events catering to diverse interests.

Homes at Esplanade at St. Marys will vary in size from 1,778ft² to 3,004ft², offering two to four bedrooms.

The community development is set to open sales in early 2026.

The Esplanade brand by Taylor Morrison comprises over 30 communities across the US, with recent expansions to Las Vegas, Nevada; Charlotte, North Carolina; Temecula, California; and Sacramento, also in California.

Taylor Morrison Jacksonville division president Rick Carruthers said: “Our Jacksonville division has experienced extensive growth this past year and we’re especially looking forward to bringing our first Esplanade community to the market while introducing the region to an unmatched resort lifestyle experience.

“With a range of resort amenity offerings, including a stunning 18-hole championship golf course, we feel the Esplanade lifestyle will be the perfect complement to this prime location.”

In July 2024, PulteGroup declared the commencement of construction on Ryehill and Del Webb Sugar Land, two new planned communities in Sugar Land, Texas, US.

These projects are the result of collaborations with the City of Sugar Land, SKLaw, Pape-Dawson Engineers, Oxland Advisors, Wheless Properties, and Taylor Morrison, and are located near Highway 59 and Grand Parkway.
