Prodezi and Huong Viet Investment Consulting have commenced the construction of an industrial in Long An, Vietnam, via a ground-breaking ceremony.
Dubbed Prodezi Eco-Industrial Park (EIP), the $195m project is expected to be one of the largest in the Mekong Delta region.
Spanning 400 hectares (ha), it is set to feature renewable energy sources, recycling programmes, and wastewater treatment facilities, all aimed at promoting biodiversity conservation and sustainability at the site.
Located at the Ho Chi Minh City-Trung Luong Expressway intersection, Prodezi EIP offers businesses prime access to transportation networks, facilitating minimised logistics expenses.
Long An Provincial People’s Committee vice-chair Huynh Van Son said: “We believe that with its strategic location, modern infrastructure system, and development orientation according to international standards, Prodezi EIP will be an ideal destination for domestic and foreign investors.”
The first-phase subdivision of Prodezi EIP is anticipated to be concluded by the third quarter (Q3) of this year.
Upon completion, the park will serve as a manufacturing hub for the electronics, semiconductors, footwear and textiles, food and beverages, and AI industries.
Located close to the 100ha LA Home ‘eco-urban’ area, Prodezi EIP will integrate with LA Home, creating a comprehensive industrial-urban complex.
Last October, Prodezi and Huong Viet signed a memorandum of understanding with Chitose Group in Japan and TA Vital to collaborate on wastewater treatment solutions for the park.
