
Build Group, a general contractor and construction manager, has appointed Jeff Nielsen as president of its Pacific Northwest Region segment.
Known for his work in boutique hospitality projects, Nielsen will lead the company’s expansion in hospitality and commercial construction projects across Washington, Oregon, Alaska, Idaho, and Montana in the US.

Nielsen’s experience includes the renovation of the Bellevue Club Hotel and various projects in Washington and Montana.
Build Group itself recently completed the First Light project in downtown Seattle.
In November 2023, the company appointed Tony Rango to its board of directors. Rango added industry experience and insights to the team.
Rango reportedly played a crucial role in the early planning and founding of Build Group and has since remained an integral part of the company’s culture.
Founded in 2007 in San Francisco, US, Build Group has expanded into Silicon Valley, Southern California, and the Pacific Northwest.
The company engages in diverse market sectors, executing projects that range from ground-up core and shell to tenant improvements and special projects.
Build Group partners on projects led by other commercial general contractors, utilising its capabilities in shoring and formwork, structural concrete, exterior skin systems, and flooring and cabinetry.
