Rejlers has entered into a framework agreement with Region Uppsala in Sweden to provide a comprehensive range of services for construction and renovation projects.
The contract aims to facilitate planning and execution for the region’s upcoming construction initiatives.
The two-year agreement, with an option to extend, encompasses design, surveys, and various assignments across new constructions, extensions, reconstructions, and environmental efforts.
The framework includes multiple disciplines such as architecture, building construction, and interior design.
The contract also covers specialist areas, including geotechnics, acoustics, plumbing, electricity, medical gases, and fire protection.
This partnership allows Region Uppsala to access Rejlers’ qualified technical services on a ‘flexible’, needs-based approach.
Rejlers is an engineering consultancy company based in the Nordic region. Operating in Sweden, Finland, Norway, and the United Arab Emirates, it employs 3,300 people across many sectors, with a turnover of Skr4.4bn ($410m) in 2024.
In July 2024, Rejlers was chosen to lead the design for infrastructure reconstruction and expansion in Västra Hamnen, Sweden, by the City of Malmö’s Property and Streets Office. This project is set to support the growth of the Citadellsfogen district.
Meanwhile, in December 2024, Rejlers, as part of an alliance consortium with Skanska, was contracted to construct a tram depot for City Transport in Helsinki, Finland.
The depot, covering 41,000m², will accommodate approximately 50 trams, providing facilities for their maintenance, cleaning, and repair.
