Turner Construction has announced the topping out of McGivney Tower, which marked the conclusion of vertical construction for the Adams Neurosciences Center at Yale New Haven Hospital, Saint Raphael Campus, US.
The $838m project is set to enhance neurological care standards in Connecticut.
The centre, upon completion, will add 204 beds and offer care for patients with neurological conditions.
It encompasses two ‘advanced’ patient care towers and will focus on treating conditions such as Parkinson’s disease, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, spinal disorders, and stroke. The facility will also include surgical, neuroimaging, and rehabilitation services.
The centre is expected to be completed in 2026.
Turner Construction vice-president and general manager Chad McCullough said: “This milestone reflects the exceptional teamwork and innovation that drives our mission at Turner.

By GlobalData“The Adams Neurosciences Center will transform neurological care in the region, improving lives through advanced treatments and compassionate care. We extend our deepest gratitude to Yale New Haven Hospital, our trade partners, and the local community for their invaluable contributions to this project.”
In December last year, Turner Construction, in partnership with Sea Breeze Properties and Safdie Rabines Architects, celebrated the topping off of 222 North City, a mixed-use development, set to transform urban living in North San Diego County, California.
As a key component of the North City master-planned community, the development will provide 460 residential units and retail spaces to San Marcos.
The company initiated construction on a segment of the New Jersey Performing Arts Center’s campus-wide expansion project in Newark, US, in October 2024.
