Morgan Sindall Construction has been selected to rebuild the existing school buildings at Riverside Primary School in Seacombe, Wirral, UK.
The school serves 210 pupils aged 4-11, with 34 nursery places for children aged 2-4.
Furthermore, Wirral Council is funding 16 more places for students with social, emotional, and mental health needs.
Appointed through the UK Department for Education’s (DfE) construction framework, Riverside is one of 518 projects under the wider School Rebuilding Programme. It marks Morgan Sindall’s 46th DfE framework project and the sixth in the North West England region.
The two existing buildings at the school will be demolished and replaced with a single, two-storey building. To facilitate the delivery of the project, temporary accommodation will be provided throughout the construction period.
The new building will feature an energy-efficient design, meeting sustainability standards and operating at net zero.
