Swedish construction company Skanska has secured a contract from the municipal company Kreativa Hus Skövde to develop a new office building and an attached parking garage in Skövde, Sweden.
The deal, valued at approximately Skr340m ($30.6m), will be recorded in Skanska’s order books for the first quarter of 2025.
The office building, rising to seven storeys, will encompass a gross area of 11,100m².
It will feature ‘flexible’ and ‘space-efficient’ premises, with an atrium at its centre that will serve as a natural gathering space.
The project also features an energy-sharing system, allowing the exchange of electricity and cooling between neighbouring buildings.
Additionally, a square will be created in the area currently occupied by a car park.
