PNK Group, a developer of industrial buildings, has expanded its portfolio with the acquisition of a 24.79-acre site at Winslow, New Jersey, US.

This marks the company’s first project in the US state. The site, located at 7 Waterford Road, will be transformed into a roughly 300,000ft² industrial facility, significantly enhancing the region’s logistics and industrial framework.

The new facility will incorporate versatility, accommodating a variety of industrial needs from manufacturing to storage and distribution.

The design includes ceilings up to 45ft high and durable reinforced concrete structures capable of supporting heavy equipment and cranes that can lift up to eight tonnes.

A key component in the construction of the New Jersey facility will be PNK Group’s Building Assembly Set (BAS), which simplifies the construction process.

The BAS utilises large-format blocks produced at the company’s own domestic facilities in Georgia and Pennsylvania, allowing for a construction timeline that surpasses market averages.

The strategic location of the site near New Jersey Route 73 and the Atlantic City Expressway provides transportation access to infrastructure hubs such as the ports of Philadelphia, Newark, Baltimore, and Wilmington.

Situated within a 150-mile radius encompassing an estimated 35 million people, including cities such as New York, Washington, and Philadelphia, the site is claimed to be ideally suited for logistics, manufacturing, and distribution centres.

Moreover, the site’s inclusion in the PILOT programme offers substantial tax incentives to prospective tenants, enhancing its commercial appeal, stated the company.

In line with its land acquisition strategy, PNK Group has also secured land parcels in Sterling, Pennsylvania (65.5 acres), Barnesville, Pennsylvania (197 acres), and Richmond, Virginia (86.6 acres), in the final quarter of 2024.

PNK Group will soon commence construction of the 846,260ft² facility in Colonial Heights, Virginia, that was acquired in October 2024 in Chesterfield County.
