Moda, Loudon’s Yard, a new rental neighbourhood in Edgbaston, Birmingham, has achieved practical completion, marking a significant milestone for Moda Living’s expansion in the UK.

The development offers 398 homes and affiliated amenities. The rental community features 14,000ft² of amenities, including a 24/7 gym, private dining room, co-working space, and communal landscaped gardens.

Residents have inclusive access to these facilities alongside high-speed Wi-Fi and a round-the-clock concierge service, enhancing the living experience in Edgbaston.

Moda, Loudon’s Yard, is part of the wider New Garden Square Masterplan, a collaboration between Moda and Calthorpe Estates. The 11-acre project aims to revitalise the area with £6m ($7.5m) in public realm improvements, 2,400 new homes, and additional office and retail spaces.

Following the completion of this first phase, the second phase, a 37-storey build-to-rent (BTR) neighbourhood, has been granted planning permission.

Winvic Construction has played a role in the project’s delivery, creating significant employment and training opportunities.

The construction phase created 5,569 weeks of employment, providing work or training for 42 young individuals and practical experience for 31 apprentices and eight placement students from local institutions.

Moda, Loudon’s Yard is the second BTR neighbourhood by Moda Group in the city, following the opening of Moda, The Mercian, Birmingham’s tallest residential tower, in August 2022.

With approximately 4,500 new homes in the pipeline, Moda’s ongoing investment in Birmingham is set to drive positive change in the city.

The doors of Moda, Loudon’s Yard opened to residents this August, with the performance of lettings surpassing the initial business plan for the development.
