Tri Pointe Homes, a US-based builder, has acquired 178 single-family detached homesites in the Sugarloaf Mountain planned community in Minneola, Florida, US.
This move signifies the homebuilder’s strategic expansion into the greater Orlando market, driven by the area’s robust growth and demand for high-quality housing.
The acquisition was made in partnership with Kennedy Lewis Investment Management, Tri Pointe’s land bank partner. The sites were purchased from Richland Communities, the developer of Sugarloaf Mountain.
The new community, officially named Pine Ridge at Sugarloaf Mountain, is set on elevated terrain and is expected to offer 15.87 acres of open space, including features such as a neighbourhood park and an amenity centre.
Plans for Pine Ridge include three different homesite sizes of 45ft, 55ft, and 65ft and detached floor plans tailored to premium entry-level and move-up homebuyers in Central Florida.
The aforementioned amenity centre is projected to include a pool, cabana, and garden area, aligning with the outdoor lifestyle the community aims to promote.
