UK-based Fusion21 has officially announced the renewal of its Building Safety and Compliance Framework, valued at up to £800m ($1.04bn) over a four-year period.
The organisation is currently seeking bids from suppliers with regional or national capabilities to contribute to the maintenance and safety of buildings across the public sector.
This fourth-generation framework, essential for various building types, is designed to support the ‘big six’ services and introduces a new lot specifically for sprinkler and mist systems.
The framework, which aims to assist landlords in managing and ensuring the safety of their buildings, is divided into 12 distinct lots. These range from asbestos surveying and consultancy to fire safety and electronic security.
Fusion21 emphasises the importance of specialist suppliers who can demonstrate compliance and help maintain safe building environments.
The deadline for tender submissions is set for 17 January 2025.

By GlobalDataThe new framework is a response to the evolving fire safety standards within the Building Safety Agenda, ensuring that new and existing lots address these critical needs.
Fusion 21 Operations group executive director Peter Francis said: “Set to launch in April 2025, this framework renewal will enable members to continue addressing the unique safety challenges of buildings ensuring the ‘golden thread’ of information is maintained, while also helping to address the challenges created by new legislation – such as the Building Safety Act (BSA 2022).”
“The framework is being set up under the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and Fusion21 members accessing this offer will benefit from flexible call-off options, support from technical experts, and measurable cost efficiencies.”
“As with all Fusion21’s frameworks, the Building Safety and Compliance Framework will help members to deliver social value they can see in communities, aligned with their organisational priorities.”
