Hoffmann Green Cement Technologies, a company involved in the design and marketing of clinker-free cement, has attained a new Appréciation Technique d’Expérimentation (ATEx) for its H-UKR cement.
The ATEx, identified by the number 3380_V1, endorses the reliability of the H-UKR cement-based concrete for use in shored floors over crawl spaces.
This marks a milestone in the decarbonisation of single-family home construction. The certification also affirms the company’s technical lead in developing low-carbon cement solutions.
The Centre Scientifique et Technique du Bâtiment (CSTB), a public institution in building quality, durability, and safety, issued the ATEx, enabling Hoffmann Green to broaden the application of its decarbonised cement and hasten its distribution within the construction sector.
This recent ATEx underpins a technical collaboration between Hoffmann Green’s H-UKR cement and the prefabricated floor system from Fimurex Planchers.
The partnership helps integrate decarbonised floor systems into the Trecobat Green range of timber-frame homes, thereby reinforcing the alliance established in January 2024 between Hoffmann Green and Trecobat, the fourth-largest builder of single-family homes in France.
