Morrison Construction Building Central has celebrated a milestone in the construction of the Health Innovation Hub (HiH) project in Glasgow, UK, with a topping-out event.
Dignitaries from the project’s partner organisations attended the ceremony.
The life science facility, which is being developed for Kadans Science Partner, is a collaborative effort with The Living Laboratory, a partnership comprising the University of Glasgow, Scottish Enterprise, and Glasgow City Council.
Morrison Construction was appointed to the project in 2021 and commenced construction earlier this year.
Upon completion, the innovation hub will offer 87,000ft² of flexible laboratory and office space that can accommodate up to 450 individuals.
The facilities, starting from 1,700ft², are designed to cater to life sciences businesses of various scales.
